An Ethereal Day in Strawberry Fields

I always wanted to go to Central Park and display a Green Man Mosaic.  I found a parking spot on the West Side and by chance walked in to Strawberry Fields:

"Strawberry Fields is a 2.5-acre (1.0 ha) landscaped section in New York City's Central Park that is dedicated to the memory of former Beatle John Lennon. It is named after the Beatles' song "Strawberry Fields Forever" written by Lennon. The Central Park memorial was designed by Bruce Kelly, the chief landscape architect for the Central Park Conservancy. Strawberry Fields was dedicated on what would have been Lennon's 45th birthday, October 9, 1985, by New York Mayor Ed Koch and Lennon's widow Yoko Ono, who had underwritten the project. The entrance to the memorial is located on Central Park West at West 72nd Street, directly across from the Dakota Apartments, where Lennon had lived for the later part of his life, and where he was murdered in 1980."  November 28th, 2015 in Manhattan was phenomenal.  It was as if the day was created for displaying these two works of art in Central Park.  What is going on with the leaves still changing this late in the year?     The irony of stumbling upon Strawberry fields along with the natural wonder and colors was serendipitous.  It was perfect.

Koi and The Cherry Tree By Victor Nunnally

28" Stained Glass Mosaic Table Top. Koi and The Cherry Tree by Victor Nunnaly 2015-Commission
I was asked to create a round mosaic of a Koi Pond with a Cherry Tree.  This is what I came up with.  There is inspiration from The New Hanover Arboretum in Wilmington, NC.  These are my first koi.  It took a few attempts to get something I found pleasing.  I am happy with with it but let's see what my customers think...
The Koi represent a Union, The Tree represents Prosperity and the circle represents Life
Thank you Karen and Joey...It is going to hang perfectly in the window over your bath...

"I Love, Love, love,  it!
I've been home about a month now and million things to do around the house but I do enjoy looking at it every morning , afternoon and dusk. The light filters differently throughout the day. Give me a little more time and I'm going to post something on your website about, how much we love having it in our home"

Doggy Diner and a Day at Golden Gate Bridge

18" Stained Glass Mosaic Lantern Doggy Diner Tribute Commission 2015
The North Beach Festival was going on so I decided to take the Journeyman to Washington Park and hang out.  Awesome day and crowds. I was asked to produce a tribute lantern to a popular West Coast diner called Doggy Diner. I asked the customer to send me a photo of the lantern lit because my camera had died. So, I will post more pics soon. The dog was somewhat of a challenge but I am happy... as was the customer.  Thanks John.  You know John, You created something that was phenomenal and about light and art.  Burning Man is something spellbinding and refreshing.
John, I borrowed this photo off Twitter.  Thanks for the promotion.

24 x 16" stained glass mosaic window. "Serenity" by Victor Nunnally commission 2015
Thank you Robin.  I produced this piece in Golden Gate park and no one noticed.  I finished it at the Golden Gate Bridge.  I ended up antiquing the frame in a copper patina.

I liked Robin's window so I decided to produce a complimentary plate to put in the NC gallery.I bet you think that tree is black glass but it actually a deep purple.  Place string lights behind it and watch what happens.
